Brutalism has long been considered an architectural style most commonly used in industrial and institutional buildings. This design theory is centered around the usage of concrete, steel, and modular elements. These aren’t modern day residential components, but nestled away from the Egyptian traffic in the expat haven that is Maadi, you will find a building like nothing else on its street, or even its city. Here you will find a restored Maadi Villa that combines elements of Brutalism with materials such as wood and wide windows in order to create a home that is both timeless and modern.
